A Pictorial Post.

State and National Parks (This is Sequoya State Park in Oklahoma)

I love the white blossoms of the Dogwoods that pop out every spring!

Enjoying a good book! (This is a very OLD copy of The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne, that my dad gave to me.)

Colorado. Who does not love it? (Riding in the cool mountain air with the window down.)

I’m currently beginning The Best of James Herriot, Stories… It’s very interesting!
We not only love Winnie the Pooh, (with Ernest Shepard illustrations) but we also adore Beatrix Potter stories and illustrations.

(They come in a handy vintage carrying case!)
Like Beatrix Potter stories, Brambly Hedge by Jill Barklem (spring story featured below) has the most idyllic illustrations.

And a real life Brambly Hedge!

Featured above, 1980’s “Summer” plates, by Jill Barklem, and “Winter” thimble featuring Brambly Hedge mice.

Being out in Nature. (One of the trails at Philbrook Gardens)

Vintage Brown Bag cookie molds are our favorite, (displayed when not in use) but we also love baking with them! (below)

Or baking something in the shape of a heart!

bon appétit

Food for the heart and soul.
