I just noticed that these little people at the top of Edith Holden’s April page matched my little people! Blue Ridge Southern Pottery had its big moment in 1930’s through the 1950’s. It really blends nicely and epitomizes cottagecore decor. But there is so much talk about lead content nowadays and that they should not be used for food consumption. This begs the question: How are they best to be enjoyed? These special pieces can be mixed and matched even with different lines of pattern. I’m curious to know how many followers have things like these that are beautiful artwork from times past, that are tucked away in dark cabinets. She captured the pink glow of the sunset! I wanted to get out and assess the snow today. It’s past the soft fluffy phase. Today it’s starting to melt. The first thing I noticed when I opened the blinds this morning was bunny tracks on the ground. The snow had gotten all the way up onto the covered porch. It’s so quiet outside when it snows. No one is yet up and about walking their dogs. The snow is completely untouched aside from a few tracks that my husband made to go out and feed the birds. The Cardinals and Blue Jays are taking turns at the feeder. Sometimes together. They move so swiftly. Noticed the one cardinal with the snow accumulation on its back. Snow Bunny ❄️🐰 This is how our morning is going… It’s a winter wonderland out there!
